The James Webb Space Telescope — Seeing Back in Time Hosted by David Peterson from the DMP Education Group

Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered — what are we really seeing?

Here’s the thing: because light takes time to travel, looking into space means looking into the past. When you look at the Moon, you see it as it was 1.3 seconds ago. Look at the Sun? That light took 8 minutes to reach your eyes.

Now… what about light that took 13.6 billion years to get here?

That’s what the James Webb Space Telescope is capturing. We’re not just taking photos of stars — we’re witnessing galaxies as they were just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. This is as close as we’ve come to watching the universe begin.
